Introduction
Heat shock factor protein 2, also known as HSF 2 and HSTF2, belongs to the HSF family of transcription factors that bind specifically to the heat-shock promoter element and activate transcription. In higher eukaryotes, HSF is unable to bind to the HSE unless the cells are heat shocked. HSF 2 is widely expressed in many cells and tissues. HSF 2 is located on Cytoplasmic during normal growth. But when it is activited, HSF 2 moves to the nucleus.

Recombinant Human Heat shock factor protein 2 (HSF2) Protein is expressed with sequence (Ser411-Ser536) of Human HSF2 fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
