Introduction
HOMER3 belongs to the HOMER family of postsynaptic density scaffolding proteins which have an analogous domain structure consisting of an N-terminal Enabled/vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein homology 1 domain that facilitates protein-protein relations, and two leucine zipper and a carboxy-terminal coiled-coil domain motifs which take part in self-oligomerization.

Recombinant Human HOMER3 protein is a single polypeptide chain containing 386 amino acids (1-361) and having a molecular mass of 42.5 kDa. HOMER3 protein is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HOMER3 solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 30% glycerol.
