Introduction
HOMER2 belongs to the homer family of dendritic proteins which are immediate early gene products who bind to group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs), proteins associated to triggering intracellular calcium release. Additionally, HOMER2 conect mGluRs to the inositol triphosphate receptors (IP3R).

Recombinant Human HOMER2 protein is a single polypeptide chain containing 368 amino acids (1-343) and having a molecular mass of 42.1 kDa. HOMER2 protein is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HOMER2 solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.1 M NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
