Introduction
HNRNPC is a member of the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) which are related to pre mRNAs in the nucleus and effect pre mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. Although all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, several hnRNPs travel between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have specific nucleic acid binding properties.

Recombinant Human HNRNPC protein is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 313 amino acids (1-293a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 34.5 kDa (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). HNRNPC protein is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HNRNPC protein solution (0.25 mg/ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 200 mM NaCl, 5 mM DTT and 30% glycerol.
