Introduction
Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) is a multifunctional growth factor which regulates both cell growth and cell motility. It exerts a strong mitogenic effect on hepatocytes and primary epithelial cells. HGF synergizes with Interleukin-3 and GM-CSF to stimulate colony formation of hematopoietic progenitor cells in vitro and may, therefore, also modulate hematopoiesis

A glycosylated single chain peptide, having a total molecular weight of 70 kDa.
The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the monkey epithelial cell line 4MBr-5 and is typically 10-50 ug/ml.
Purity > 95%, by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HGF was lyophilized from 1 ug/ml in 1xPBS.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized HGF in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
