Description
Histone deacetylases (HDAC) are a class of enzymes that remove acetyl groups from an E-N-acetyl lysine amino acid on a histone or other proteins. Its action is opposite to that of histone acetyltransferase. HDAC proteins are found in three groups, the first two groups belong to the classical HDACs and their activities are inhibited by trichostatin A (TSA) whereas the third group is a family of NAD+-dependent proteins not affected by TSA.

Reconstitution: 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 ug/ml.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
