Introduction
GRPEL1 is a vital component of the PAM complex, a complex necessary for the translocation of transit peptide-containing proteins from the inner membrane into the mitochondrial matrix in an ATP-dependent manner. GRPEL1 protein controls the nucleotide-dependent binding of mitochondrial HSP70 to substrate proteins.

GRPEL1 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 211 amino acids (28-217a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.6kDa, it is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The GRPEL1 protein solution (1 mg/ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) 0.2 M NaCl,1 mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
