Introduction
Stress-70 protein is also known as 75 kDa glucose-regulated protein,Heat shock 70 kDa protein 9, Peptide-binding protein 74, HSPA9, GRP75 and HSPA9B, is a member of the heat shock protein 70 family. HSPA9 is a heat-shock cognate protein and is primarily localizes to the mitochondrion, but is also found in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum and cytoplasmic vesicles.HSPA9 plays a role in cell proliferation, stress response and maintenance of the mitochondria. HSPA9 plays a role in the control of cell proliferation. It may also serve as a chaperone.

Recombinant Human HSPA9 protein is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 654 amino acids (47-679) and having a molecular mass of 71 kDa. Recombinant Human HSPA9 protein is expressed with a 20 amino acid His tag fused at N-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The HSPA9 protein solution contains 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH-8, 10% glycerol and 0.5 mM DTT.
