Introduction:
Fatty acid-binding protein1 liver, also known as Liver-type fatty acid-binding protein, L-FABP, FABPL, FABP-1, FABP1, Z-protein, is a cytoplasm protein which belongs to the calycin superfamily and Fatty-acid binding protein (FABP) family. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids. FABP1 forms a beta-barrel structure that accommodates hydrophobic ligands in its interior. FABP1 can bind free fatty acids and their coenzyme A derivatives, bilirubin, and some other small molecules in the cytoplasm, so it can be involved in intracellular lipid transport.
BP001436-PRO-1121: Recombinant Mouse Fatty acid-binding protein 1 liver (FABPL)
Source: E. coli-derived.
Recombinant Mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein-1 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 127 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 14.2 kDa. The FABP1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95.0% by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FABP1 in sterile 18 M?-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
