Introduction
Endothelial sialomucin (Endomucin) interferes with the assembly of focal adhesion complexes and inhibits interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix. Endomucin is expressed in the heart, kidney and lung.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 197 amino acids (19-190 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 20.5 kDa. EMCN is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: EMCN protein solution (0.25 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH8.0, 10% glycerol, 1 mM DTT and 100 mM NaCl.
