Introduction
Elongation factor 1-beta (EEF1B2) is a translation elongation factor. EEF1B2 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor which is involved in the transfer of aminoacylated tRNAs to the ribosome. Both EEF1B2 and EEF1D stimulate the exchange of GDP bound to EEF1A to GTP.

Recombinant Human EEF1B2 protein fused with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-terminus is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 233 amino acids (1-225 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 25.8 kDa. Recombinant Human EEF1B2 protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The EEF1B2 solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 1 mM DTT and 100 mM NaCl.
