Description

Introduction
Deoxyribose-phosphate aldolase (DERA) is a member of the deoC/fbaB aldolase protein family involved in the carbohydrate degradation pathway. DERA catalyzes the conversion of 2-deoxy-D-ribose 5-phosphate to D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and an acetyldehyde.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 338 amino acids (1-318 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 37.3 kDa. DERA is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The DERA solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.1 M NaCl and 1 mM DTT.
