Introduction
Peroxisomal 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase (DECR2) is an supporting enzyme of beta-oxidation. DECR2 partakes in the degradation of unsaturated fatty enoyl-CoA esters having double bonds in both even- and odd-numbered positions in peroxisome. DECR2 catalyzes the NADP-dependent reduction of 2,4-dienoyl-CoA to yield trans-3-enoyl-CoA.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 315 amino acids (1-292) and having a molecular mass of 33.2 kDa. DECR2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The DECR2 solution (0.25 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 40% glycerol, 0.15 M NaCl and 1 mM DTT.
