Introduction
DARS uses a 2 step reaction to catalyze the specific attachment of an amino acid to its cognate tRNA: the amino acid (AA) is first activated by ATP to form AA-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of the tRNA.

A single polypeptide chain containing 521 amino acids (1-501) and having a molecular mass of 59.3 kDa. DARS is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The DARS solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 150 mM Nacl, 1 mM DTT and 40% glycerol.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
