Introduction
Beta-casein precursor (CSN2) is a member of the beta-casein family. CSN2 has an imperative role in determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles. CSN2 is specific to mammary glands and is secreted in milk.

A single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (16-226 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.6 kDa. CSN2 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: CSN2 protein solution (0.25 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 0.5 M NaCl, 0.25 M imidazole, 1 mM DTT and 0.1 mM PMSF.
