Introduction
GSK3-beta interaction protein (C14orf129) is defined as a naturally occurring protein which is homologous with the GSK3-beta interaction domain of Axin and is able to negatively regulate GSK3-beta of the Wnt signaling pathway. C14orf129 may affect GSK3-beta activity on neurite outgrowth by inhibiting the specific phosphorylation of tau (ser396).

Recombinant Human C14ORF129 fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 159 amino acids (1-139 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 17.8 kDa. The C14ORF129 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: > 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The C14ORF129 solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1 mM DTT, 10% glycerol and 50 mM NaCl.
