Introduction
ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 5B (ARL5B) is a member of a family of proteins which are structurally similar to ADP-ribosylation factors. ARLs and ARFs belong to the RAS superfamily of regulatory GTPases. ARL5B is most closely related to ARL5, with which it shares 80% sequence identity. Furthermore, Human ARL5B shares 100% identity with mouse ARL8 and 71% identity with the Drosophila homolog.

Recombinant Human ARL5B is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 199 amino acids (1-179 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 22.5 kDa. ARL5B is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Predicted molecular mass of 22.5 kDa.
Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: ARL5B protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 2 mM DTT, 30% glycerol, 0.1 M NaCl and 1mM EDTA.
