Introduction
ARL2 is a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) family. ARL2 functions as a component of a secretory pathway which is involved in the Ca2-dependent release of acetylcholine. ARL2 has a role in the folding of tubule proteins, thus playing a significant role in microtubule dynamics and cell cycle progression. Unlike other members of the ARF family, ARL2 doesn’t act as an activator of the catalytic subunit of cholera toxin.

Recombinant Human ARL2 fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 204 amino acids (1-184 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23 kDa. The ARL2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Predicted molecular mass of 23 kDa.
Purity: > 90.0% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The ARL2 solution (0.25 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 0.1 mM PMSF, 1 mM DTT and 40% Glycerol.
