Introduction
Annexin A6, also known as Annexin-VI, Lipocortin-VI and Chromobindin-20, belongs to a family of calcium-dependent membrane and phospholipid binding proteins. Annexin A6 is a secreted protein and locates on the cell surface. Annexin A6 contains 8 annexin repeats separated by linking sequences of variable lengths. A pair of annexin repeats may form one binding site for calcium and phospholipid. ANXA6 is involved in the regulation of the release of Ca2+ from intracellular stores and may be associated with CD21. In addition, ANXA6 has been implicated in mediating the endosome aggregation and vesicle fusion in secreting epithelia during exocytosis.

Recombinant Human Annexin A6 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 693 amino acids (1-673 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 78 kDa. ANXA6 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Predicted molecular mass: 78 kDa.
Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: The ANXA6 protein solution contains 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH-8, 0.1 M NaCl and 10% glycerol.
