Introdution
Annexin A5 (ANXA5) is a member of the annexin family. It is calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins ANXA5 is an anticoagulant protein, it acts as an indirect inhibitor of the thromboplastin-specific complex. ANXA5 is a protein kinase C and phospholipase A2 inhibitory protein with calcium channel properties and participate in inflammation, cellular signal transduction, growth and differentiation. ANXA5 binding to phosphatidylserine and sulfatide to regulates coagulability in the blood stream. It also protects sinsuoidal endothelial cells from ischemia reperfusion damage. ANXA5 is important for normal CFTR chloride channel activity.

ANXA5 Sf9 is a full-length cDNA coding for the human Annexin V proteinhaving a molecular mass of 37, 049 Dalton (pH 5.3). ANXA5 Sf9 protein is fused to a hexa-histidine purification tag.
Purity: > 80% by SDS-PAGE.
Immunological function: Binds IgG-type human auto-antibodies.
Immunological tests: Standard ELISA test (checkerboard analysis of positive/negative sera panels); immunodot test.
Applications: Western blot withmonoclonal anti-Annexin V antibodies ormonoclonal anti-hexa-His-tag antibody.
Formulation: ANXA5 Sf9 (1.33 mg/ml) is supplied in 20 mM HEPES buffer pH-7.5, 250 mM NaCl and 20% Glycerol.
