Description

Introduction
Angiopoietin-like proteins ANGPTL3 and ANGPTL4 are secreted proteins mainly expressed in liver that have been demonstrated to regulate triglyceride metabolism by inhibiting the lipolysis of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. ANGPTL3 is structurally similar to angiopoietins, which are vascular endothelial growth factors. The experimental results show that Angptl3 and Angptl4 function to regulate circulating triglyceride levels during different nutritional states and therefore play a role in lipid metabolism during feeding/fasting through differential inhibition of Lipoprotein lipase (LPL). Using deletion mutants of Angiopoietin 5 human, it was demonstrated that the N-terminal domain containing fragment -(17-07) and not the C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain containing fragment -(207-60) increased the plasma triglyceride levels in mice.

PA005196-ANT-310: ANGPTL3 Monoclonal Antibody

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody.
Applications: ANGPTL3 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000.
Reactivity: Human.
Immunogen: Anti-human ANGPTL3 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with Recombinant human ANGPTL3 amino acids 243-460 purified from E. coli.
Purification: ANGPTL3 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Form of Antibody: 1ug/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Clone: P1D10AT.
Isotype: Mouse IgG1.
