Description

Introduction
ACVR1B on ligand binding, creates a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. ACVR1B Phosphorylates TTRAP.

BP000823-PKA-366: Recombinant Human Activin A Receptor, Type IB

Source: HEK293 Cells-derived.
A single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular weight of 38.2 kDa though on SDS-PAGE migrates at about 46 kDa due to the glycosilation.
In a functional ELISA, immobilized recombinant Human ACVR1B (0.2 ?g/mL) will bind recombinant Human ACVR1B with a linear range of 0.8?00 ug/ml.
Purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution containing no additives or preservatives.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized ACVR1B in sterile 18 M?-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
