BP003751: Rat GDF15 Protein with the N-His Tag
Source: The recombinant Rat GDF15 Protein, (amino acids Ser189-Ala303) fused with a His tag at the N-terminus, was produced in E.coli cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Rat GDF15 protein with the His tag at the N-terminus has a predicted MW of 13.68 kDa. The protein migrates to 15-17 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Rat GDF15 protein with the N-His tag at 5 ug/ml (100 ul/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Biotinylated Mouse GFRAL protein with the N-His tag with the EC50 of 0.95 ug/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Rat GDF15 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Rat GDF15 Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
