Description

Introduction
Wnt inhibitory factor 1(WIF1) is a secreted protein, which binds WNT proteins and inhibits their activities. WNT proteins are extracellular signaling molecules involved in the control of embryonic development. WIF1 contains a WNT inhibitory factor (WIF) domain and 5 epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains. is found to be present in fish, amphibia and mammals. WIF1 is a recurrent target in human salivary gland oncogenesis.WIF1 may be involved in mesoderm segmentation. WIF1 is a tumor suppressor, specifically in nonfunctioning pituitary tumors.

BP001047-C396: Recombinant Human Wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF1) protein

Source: HEK 293-derived.
Recombinant Human Wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF1) protein is expressed with sequence (Gly29-Trp379) of Human wif-1 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 10 mM HAc-NaAc, 150 mM NaCl, 0.5% CHAPS, pH 4.0.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
