Introduction
Vasorin is a type I membrane protein, which is predominantly expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells in a developmentally regulated pattern. The expression level of Vasorin can be down-regulated during vessel repair after arterial injury. Vasorin binds to transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) and attenuates TGF-β signaling in vitro.

Recombinant Human Vasorin (VASN) Protein is expressed with sequence (Cys24-Pro575) of Human VASN fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, 5% Threhalose, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
