BP4114 Recombinant Endotoxin-free TEV Protease 1 mg 550.00
Description

Background

The TEV protease, also designated NIa, is 241 amino acids long and is the catalytic domain of the encoded potyvirus protein. Endotoxin-free TEV protease is effectively used with high specificity and with various pHs and ionic strengths as a preferable protease to cleave affinity tags from recombinant proteins. This TEV protease can be used either co-translationally or following purification in vitro.

BP4114: Recombinant endotoxin-free TEV protease

Source: E.coli-derived.
Recombinant endotoxin-free TEV protease is the sequence of TEV Protease (accession # NP_062908, amino acids Glu2039-Gln2279 (Ser2256Asn)) fused with a 6-His tag at the C-terminus.
