Introduction
Semaphorin 3C is one of six Class 3 secreted semaphorins, which are potent chemorepellents, play a role in axon and/or vascular guidance during development, can be upregulated in the process of tumor progression. Semaphorin 3C consists of a 20 amino acids signal sequence, a N-terminal Sema domain, a cysteine knot, a furine-type cleavage site, an Ig-like domain, and a C-terminal basic domain. Semaphorin 3C expressed highly in the heart, colon, skeletal muscle, small intestine, testis, ovary and prostate, expresed lowly in the other organs, inclding brain.

Recombinant Human Semaphorin 3C (SEMA3C) Protein is expressed with sequence (Gly21-Ser738) of Human SEMA3C fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
