Background
Glutaminyl-peptide Cyclotransferase, also known as QPCT and Glutaminyl Cyclase, catalyzes the conversion of N-terminal L-glutaminyl residues of peptides to pyroglutamyl groups.

Recombinant QPCT enzyme (Glutaminyl-peptide Cyclotransferase) is the sequence of QPCT enzyme (accession # Q16769) fused with a 6-His tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Activity: Recombinant QPCT enzyme converts Glutaminyl-AMC to pyroglutamyl-AMC.
Formulation: 0.2 μM filtered solution.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU/ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
