Introduction
Protein NDRG1 is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family, which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. Protein NDRG1 is a cytoplasmic protein involved in stress responses, hormone responses, cell growth and differentiation. Protein NDRG1 is necessary for p53-mediated caspase activation and apoptosis. Protein NDRG1 mutuations are reported to be the cause for hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy-Lom. The decreased NDRG1 expression in glioma is linked to tumor progression, overexpression of NDRG1 is connected to malignant status of esophageal cancer.

Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
