Introduction
Mortality factor 4-like protein 2 (MORF4L2), also known as MORF-related gene X protein, Protein MSL3-2 and Transcription factor-like protein MRGX, is a member of the mortality factor (MORF) family. MORF4L2 localizes in the nucleus, possessing a protein kinase C phosphorylation site and a tyrosine phosphorylation site. MORF4L2 interacts with the Rb tumor suppressor and it has histone deacetylase activity which can either repress or promote the activity of the B-Myb promoter depending on the tissue. In addition, MORF4L2 is involved in cell growth, regulation and senescence.

Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
