Introduction
Acyl-protein thioesterase 2 (LYPLA2) is lysophospholipase which acts on biological membranes to regulate the multifunctional lysophospholipids. LYPLA2 may hydrolyze fatty acids from S-acylated cysteine residues in proteins such as trimeric G alpha proteins or HRAS.

Recombinant Human Acyl-Protein Thioesterase 2 (LYPLA2) Enzyme is expressed with sequence (Met1-Val231) of Human LYPLA2 fused with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM Tris, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 M NaCl, pH 8.0.
