Introduction
Leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal protein 2, also known as Leucine-rich repeat neuronal 2 protein, KIAA0416, LRRN2 and LRRTM2, is a Single-pass type I membrane protein which Belongs to the LRRTM family. It contains 10 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats, 1 LRRCT domain, and 1 LRRNT domain. LRRTM2 is expressed in neuronal tissues, and Interacts with DLG4 and NRXN1. LRRTM2 has been suggested to involve in the development and maintenance of excitatory synapse in the vertebrate nervous system. LRRTM2 also regulates surface expression of AMPA receptors. LRRTM2 acts as a ligand for the presynaptic receptors NRXN1-A and NRXN1-B.

Recombinant Human Leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal protein 2 (LRRTM2) Protein is expressed with sequence (Cys34-Arg422) of Human LRRTM2 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 EU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
