Introduction
Human interleukin family 1, member 6 (hIL-1F6 / FIL1-epsilon) belongs to the interleukin 1 cytokine family. IL1F6 is expressed in the immune system and the fetal brain, but not in other tissues tested or in multiple hematopoietic cell lines. IL1F6 is the only IL-1 family member found to be expressed on T-cells. IL1F6 functions via receptor complex of IL-1Rrp2 and IL-1RAcP. The recombinant IL1F6, along with IL1F8 and IL1F9, acts as an agonist by activating the pathway involving NF-B and MAPK in an IL-1Rrp2 dependent manner.

Recombinant Human Interleukin-1 Family Member 6 (IL1F6) Protein is expressed with sequence (Met1-Phe158) of Human IL-36.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
