Description
Interleukin-1 alpha is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. It is a pleiotropic cytokine involved in various immune responses, inflammatory processes, and hematopoiesis. This cytokine is produced by monocytes and macrophages as a proprotein, which is proteolytically processed and released in response to cell injury, and thus induces apoptosis. IL-1 alpha and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. It has been suggested that the polymorphism of these genes is associated with rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimera disease.
PA000572-R12-2203: IL-1a Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody.
Specificity/Sensitivity: IL-1γ antibody detects endogenous levels of IL-1a.
Applications: IHC: 1:50~1:100 ELISA: 1:10000.
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human IL-1a.
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation.
Form of Antibody: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Other IL-1a Antibody:
IL-1a Monoclonal Antibody
