Background Information:
A resorcylic acid lactone polyketide. It is a kinase inhibitor targeting mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase pathways at four levels: mitogen receptors, MAP kinase kinase (MEK)1/2 and ERK1/2, and certain downstream ERK substrates.
