BP004703: Human HGF Protein with the C-His Tag
Source: The recombinant Human HGF Protein, (amino acids Gln32-Ser728) fused with a His tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The HGF single chain can be processed into the active form of disulfide-linked heterodimer of α and β chain.The recombinant Human HGF protein with the His tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 79.6 kDa (after cleavage of the signal peptide). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 60-65 kDa and 30-40 kDa corresponding to α chain and β chain based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human HGF protein with the C-His tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human HGF R protein with the C-hFc tag with the EC50 of 9.9 ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human HGF Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
