Background
HMGB4 is HMG2 like, isoform 2, high-mobility group box 4. This gene can be found on Chromosome 1.HMGB4 contains two HMG-box regions, which is found in a variety of eukaryotic chromosomal proteins and transcription. HMGB proteins are phosphorylated to various extents reveals that the existence of differentially modified forms increases the number of distinct HMGB protein variants in plant chromatin that may be adapted to certain functions.

Specificity/Sensitivity: mouse, rat No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Applications: Western blot: At 1 ug/ml with the appropriate system to detect FAS in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry(P): At 1-2ug/ml to detect FAS in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F): At 1-2ug/ml to detect FAS in formalin or acetone fixed tissues.
Reactivity: Mouse, Rat.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminal of rat FAS, different from the related mouse sequence by seven amino acids.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Form of Antibody: Each vial contains 5 mg BSA, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg Thimerosal, 0.05 mg NaN3.
Isotype: Rabbit IgG.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
