Description

Introduction
Haloacid Dehalogenase-Like Hydrolase Domain-Containing Protein 22 (HDHD2) is a member of the HAD-like hydrolase superfamily. HDHD2 includes L-2-Haloacid Dehalogenase, Epoxide Hydrolases and Phosphatases. There are two active sites in HDHD2 - an L-2-Haloacid Dehalogenase and a Carboxylate group. The L-2-Haloacid Dehalogenase active site catalyzes the hydrolytic dehalogenation of D- and L-2-Haloalkanoic Acids, producing L- and D-2-Hydroxyalkanoic Acids.

BP000629-C274: Recombinant Human Haloacid Dehalogenase-like Hydrolase Domain Containing 2 (HDHD2) Enzyme

Source: E. coli-derived.
Recombinant Human Haloacid Dehalogenase-like Hydrolase Domain Containing 2 (HDHD2) Enzyme is expressed with sequence (Met1-Leu259) of Human HDHD2 fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM NaCl, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
