Introduction
Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor-associated protein-like 1, also known as Early estrogen-regulated protein, GABA(A) receptor-associated protein-like 1, Glandular epithelial cell protein 1, GEC1 and GABARAPL1, is a cytoplasmic protein which belongs to the MAP1 LC3 family. GABARAPL1 is expressed at very high levels in the brain, heart, peripheral blood leukocytes, liver, kidney, placenta and skeletal muscle. It can interact with GABRG2, OPRK1 and beta-tubulin. GABARAPL1 increases cell-surface expression of kappa-type opioid receptor through facilitating anterograde intracellular trafficking of the receptor.

Recombinant Human Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor-associated protein-like 1 (GABARAPL1) Protein is expressed with sequence (Met1-Lys117) of Human GABARAPL1 fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
