BP005727: Biotinylated Human VEGF121 Protein with the C-His-Avi Tag
Source: The recombinant Biotinylated Human VEGF121 Protein, (amino acids Ala27-Arg147) fused with a His-Avi tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Biotinylated Human VEGF121 protein with the His-Avi tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 17 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 18 kDa and 22-25 kDa under reduced (R) condition, 30 kDa and 32-40 kDa under Non reducing (N) condition based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human VEGF R1 protein with the C-His-Avi tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Biotinylated Human VEGF121 protein with the C-His tag with the EC50 of 16.5 ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Biotinylated Human VEGF121 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
