Description

Introduction
Ephrin-B2 is a type I transmembrane protein and belongs the Ephrin family. It binds to the receptor tyrosine kinases, such as EPHA4, EPHB4 and EPHA3. Ephrin-B2 has been implicated in mediating developmental events, especially in the nervous system, erythropoiesis and tumour metastasis. Ligation of Ephrin-B2 with complementary EphB receptors on adjacent cells results in a combination of forward (EphB receptors) and reverse (Ephrin-B2) signalling, which is central to tissue development and remodelling functions. In addition, Ephrin-B2 may play a role in constraining the orientation of longitudinally projecting axons.

BP001703-C465: Recombinant Human Ephrin-B2 (EFNB2) Protein

Source: HEK 293-derived.
Recombinant Human Ephrin-B2 (EFNB2) Protein is a secreted protein with sequence (Ile28-Ala229) of Human EFNB2 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
