Description

Introduction
Cadherin-17 is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the cadherin superfamily. Cadherin-17 consists of one extracellular region containing seven cadherin domains and one transmembrane region but it lacks the conserved cytoplasmic domain. Cadherin-17 is expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic duct. Cadherins are calcium dependent cell adhesion proteins and preferentially interact with each other in a homophilic manner in connecting cells. Cadherin-17 may have a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine and involved in intestinal peptide transport.

BP001611-CA12: Recombinant Human Cadherin-17 (CDH17) Protein

Source: HEK 293-derived.
Recombinant Human Cadherin-17 (CDH17) Protein is expressed with sequence (Gln23-Met787) of Human Cadherin-17 fused with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping: The product is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
