Description

BACKGROUND
CDC34, Cell division cycle 34, Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDC34 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. By in situ hybridization that the CDC34 gene is located in the far telomeric region of 19p13.3, in a region of syntenic homology between human 19p and mouse 11.Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. This protein is a part of the large multiprotein complex, which is required.
