BP005392: Human SOST/Sclerostin Protein with the N-His-Avi Tag
Source: The recombinant Human SOST/Sclerostin Protein, (amino acids Gln24-Tyr213) fused with a His-Avi tag at the N-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Human SOST/Sclerostin protein with the His-Avi tag at the N-terminus has a predicted MW of 24.2 kDa. Due to glycosylation,the protein migrates to 28-40 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human SOST protein with the N-His-Avi tag at 0.5 ug/ml (100 ul/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Anti-SOST Antibody protein with the N-hFc tag with the EC50 of 6.3 ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human SOST/Sclerostin Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
