Description

Introduction
Bridging integrator 2, also known as Breast cancer-associated protein 1, BIN2 and BRAP1, is a cytoplasmic protein. BIN2 contains one BAR domain and Interacts with BIN1. BIN2 is highly expressed in some hematopoietic tissues, including peripheral blood, thymus, colon and placenta. BIN2 is an Arabidopsis GSK3-like kinase that negatively regulates brassinosteroid (BR) signaling. Genetic studies show that BIN2 is inhibited in response to BR perception at the cell surface to relieve its inhibitory effects on downstream targets.

BP001607-CE47: Recombinant Human Bridging Integrator 2 (BIN2) Proten

Source: E. coli-derived.
Recombinant Human Bridging Integrator 2 (BIN2) Proten is expressed with sequence (Met1-Asn244) of Human BIN2 (Uniprot #Q9UBW5) fused with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Purity: > 95% by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug).
Formulation: lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
