Source: The anti-mouse IL-4 monoclonal antibody (clone: 11B11) was produced in mammalian cells.
Specificity/Sensitivity: The in vivo grade recombinant rat monoclonal antibody (clone: 11B11) specifically binds to mouse IL-4.
Applications: ELISA, neutralization, functional assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by the mouse IL-4 protein.

Anti-IL-4 therapy with 11B11 enhances antitumor immunity in a mouse melanoma model

Mice were injected intraperitoneally with 300 ?g of anti-mouse IL-4 antibody (clone 11B11, Bio X Cell) every 3 days starting from day 5 post-tumor implantation. B16-F10 melanoma cells were subcutaneously injected into the flank of C57BL/6 mice. Tumor volumes were calculated using the formula length × width^2 × 0.5. IL-4 blockade shifted macrophage polarization toward M1 phenotype. Combination with anti-PD-1 therapy reduced tumor growth by 70%.

Anti-mouse IL-4 (clone 11B11, Bio X Cell) was administered at 250 ?g per dose intraperitoneally on days -1, 0, and +1 relative to infection. Nippostrongylus brasiliensis larvae were injected subcutaneously into BALB/c mice. Worm burden was assessed by counting expelled worms from feces. IL-4 neutralization enhanced Th1 responses and parasite clearance. Lung pathology was evaluated by histology on day 7 post-infection.

Role of IL-4 neutralization with 11B11 in collagen-induced arthritis in mice

DBA/1 mice received 400 ?g of anti-mouse IL-4 antibody (clone 11B11) intraperitoneally once weekly for 4 weeks. Collagen-induced arthritis was induced by intradermal injection of bovine type II collagen. Clinical arthritis scores were recorded three times per week. Anti-IL-4 treatment decreased paw swelling and joint erosion. Cytokine levels in serum were quantified by multiplex ELISA.

Anti-mouse IL-4 antibody (11B11) modulates Th2 responses in a food allergy model

Mice were treated with 150 ?g anti-mouse IL-4 (clone 11B11) intraperitoneally daily during the challenge phase. Food allergy was induced by oral sensitization with ovalbumin and cholera toxin. Anaphylactic symptoms were scored after oral challenge. IL-4 blockade suppressed IgE production and mast cell degranulation. Intestinal histology showed reduced eosinophil infiltration.

Anti-mouse IL-4 antibody (clone 11B11, Bio X Cell) was injected intraperitoneally at 200 ?g per dose twice weekly. Atopic dermatitis was induced by repeated epicutaneous application of ovalbumin. Skin thickness was measured using a micrometer. Treatment reduced ear swelling and scratching behavior. Th2 cytokine expression in skin was downregulated by qPCR.
