Background Information:
AMG-510 is an orally available, potent and irreversible KRAS G12C inhibitor, selectively targeting the KRAS p.G12C mutant, at either the DNA, RNA or protein level, and preventing, through a yet-to-be elucidated mechanism, expression of and/or tumor cell signaling through the KRAS p.G12C mutant. It is currently in clinical evaluation, as both a monotherapy and in combination with other targeted and immune therapies, to treat mutated KRAS protein related solid tumors.
