The cheap 2x rapid PCR Master Mix with non-interfering green dye is ready-to-use 2x concentrated solution for genotyping and DNA subcloning. Except DNA template and primers, the 2x rapid PCR master mix contains all other components for PCR, including Taq DNA polymerase, extension promoter, dNTPs, MgCl2, reaction buffer, PCR stabilizer and enhancer at optimal concentrations for consistent and efficient PCR amplification. For a 20 ul PCR reaction, simply add 10 ul of 2x rapid PCR master mix to specific primers, DNA template, and water. No additional loading buffer is required for electrophoresis when the PCR reaction is completed. This product contains electrophoresis buffer and green dye. It can be directly electrophoresed after the reaction, which is convenient to use. The protective agent included allows the 2x rapid PCR Master Mix to maintain stable activity after repeated freezing and thawing.
The amplification speed of the 2x rapid PCR master mix is ~15 sec/kb, a standard for rapid PCR reaction. The speed can even reach 1 sec/kb if the amplification length is <1 kb. The 2x rapid PCR master mix has excellent amplification performance and high storage stability. It is suitable for PCR amplification within 5 kb if genomic DNAs are used as the template, and 10 kb if plasmid and λDNA are used as the template. There is an A at the 3’ end of the PCR product, which can be directly cloned into the T vector and is suitable for our one-step homologous recombination-based DNA subcloning kit.
Optimal template and primer concentrations, and PCR program parameters should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
